Tongkat Ali tongkatAli is a tree native to Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. The part of the tree used medicinally is the root.

Why Do People Use Tongkat Ali? Tongkat Ali was dubbed the "Asian Viagra" in a May 1999 report in the New Sunday Times.

It has been used in Malaysia for many years by men to increase sexual desire, libido, sexual performance and to treat erectile dysfunction.

Tongkat ali appears to work by increasing levels of the hormone testosterone. Testosterone is primarily responsible for the growth and development of male reproductive organs, including the penis, testicles, scrotum, prostate, and seminal vesicles. Normal testosterone levels maintain energy level, mood, fertility, and sexual desire.

Maca maca Maca, Lepidium meyenii, is an annual plant which produces a radish-like root. The root of maca is typically dried and stored, and will easily keep for seven years. The plant is cultivated in the Junin plateau of Peru's Central Highlands, and was highly revered by the Inca. Sarsaparilla maca is a woody vine with black, red and blue berry-like fruits that have given the indigenous peoples of Central and South America results for centuries. They have used sarsaparilla for sexual impotence, skin ailments and even for helping rid the feeling of general physical weakness that plagues some people. Muira Puama maca The root and bark are used for a variety of ailments by indigenous peoples in the Rio Negro area of South America, and have become popular as herbal treatments for sexual dysfunction, but the effectiveness of muira puama preparations are debatable. There is evidence that Muira Puama is anxiogenic, which would be consistent with a stimulant effect, without affecting coordination. Nettle maca is aperennial herb, found growing wild throughout the temperate zones of both hemispheres worldwide. Cleanses the system by promoting the flow of urine and also aids kidney and bladder function. Used to expel gravel from the bladder, flush toxins from the system and combat urinary infections. Astragalus maca has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years, often in combination with other herbs, to strengthen the body against disease. Astragaus is an adaptoge, meaning it helps protect the body against various stresses, including physical, mental, or emotional stress. Astragalus may help protect the body from diseases such as cancer and diabetes.

It contains antioxidants, which protect cells against damage caused by free radicals, byproducts of cellular energy. Astragalus is used to protect and support the immune system, for preventing colds and upper respiratory infections, to lower blood pressure, to treat diabetes, and to protect the liver.

Licorice Root maca is famous for its delicious distinctive flavor, licorice is essential in innumerable candy, confection and beverage recipes and makes an estimable liquer. Licorice root is also a traditional herbal remedy with an ancient history and world wide usage.

Modern research has shown Licorice Root to have effects upon, amongst other organs, the endocrine system and liver. As an anti-hepatotoxic licorice tea is helpful in the treatment of chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis, for which it is been widely used in Japan.

  L-Arginine maca L-arginine is an amino acid that has numerous functions in the body. It helps the body get rid of ammonia (a waste product), is used to make compounds in the body such creatine, L-glutamate, and L-proline, and can be converted to glucose and glycogen if needed.

L-arginine is used to make the nitric oxide, a compound in the body that relaxes blood vessels. Preliminary studies have found that L-arginine may help with conditions that improve when blood vessels are relaxed (called vasodilation), such as atherosclerosis, erectile dysfunction, and intermittent claudication.

L-arginine is also involved in protein formation. In larger amounts, L-arginine stimulates the release of hormones growth hormone and prolactin.

Ginseng maca is known as an adaptogen, which means it increases resistance to physical, chemical, and biological stress and builds energy and general vitality.

In one research study of 90 men with erectile dysfunction, 60% of the participants reported improvement in their symptoms compared with 30% of those using the placebo.

Pumpkin seed maca contains water, cucurbitine, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre, ash, calcium, phosphorus, iron, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, fatty oil, proteins and vitamins A, B and C as well as carotene.


Oats maca contain more soluble fiber than any other grain, resulting in slower digestion and an extended sensation of fullness.[citation needed] One type of soluble fibre, beta-glucans, has proven to help lower cholesterol.

Cayenne maca pepper is high in vitamin A. It also contains vitamin B6, vitamin E, vitamin C, riboflavin , potassium and manganese.



Catuaba bark maca is one of several herbs that contains many beneficial compounds that can be helpful to a number of health conditions. Catuaba bark refers to the bark of the Catuaba tree, which grows in the rainforests of Brazil. The Tupi Indians are credited with the discovery of catuaba as an aphrodisiac.

Indigenous people have used the herb for many generations and attest to its effectiveness. Although catuaba bark is an effective aphrodisiac increasing sexual desire in both male and female, it is primarily used to enhance erection in males.

Tribulus Terrestris maca is now being promoted as a booster for the purpose of increasing sex drive. Its use for this purpose originated in Eastern Europe in the 1970s. It was popularized in America by 1970s strongman Jeffrey Petermann. Independent studies [5] have suggested that Tribulus terrestris extract slightly increases hormone levels, though leaving them in the normal range.
